Becky's Story
Life
My life , where do I begin. I am happily married to a man I knew 30 years ago. We used to work together. We dated about 2 years and then went our own ways. I married once when I was a senior in High School. It didn't work out and I was single for a long time. In 87 I married Rod Gibbs. we owned and operated Gibbs Furniture out on Breezy Hill. We adopted a son, his name is Travis. We closed our business and moved to Branson MO. We lived there for 16 years. While we were there we worked for a magician. His name was Kirby VanBurch. My husband was the emcee and I managed all of his magic shops. Unfortuantly my husband died. After he passed away I stayed and worked for Kirby as the emcee of the show for a couple of years. to go with was looking for me. Long story short (haha) Logan and I began talking and now we have been married 2 years. We live near Austin, TX.
I have rheumatoid arthritis and can no longer work. I can get around just not able to stand or walk for long periods of time. Logan and I live a very comfortable life, we own our home and just enjoy each other. He is retired Navy. His wife also passed away almost 8 years ago. You never hardly get a second chance with Love but I can say that I have. My son loves Logan like a father and they have a great relationship.
My son still lives in Branson and recently married. He also works for the same magician that his dad and I did. He has worked for him since he was 11 years old.
